Be a Self-Care Ninja: An example of how I find moments for self-care on a busy day.

šŸŽˆ A few weeks ago, my daugther hit the 36" height requirement for most of the kiddie rides at Canada's Wonderland (a theme park in Ontario) -- yay! She has really been enjoying the rides (especially the ones that she can go on alone). Her favorite solo ride lately has been the balloon ride (pictured). I love how excited she is to do something on her own. My husband once asked how I felt about it (he was quite emotional about her doing more on her own), and I joked, "I feel great! It's like 2 minutes of daycare!" He and the other parents around us laughed, but honestly, it's even better than daycare. While she's on the ride, I know she's safe and having a blast. It's also the perfect time to be what I call a self-care ninja and sneak in some self-care! šŸ„·āœØ While she is on the rides, I like to use those moments to watch my breath and practice mindfulness while I soak in the sights, sounds, and smells around me. How will you channel your inner self-care ninja this weekend? Remember, self-care doesn't always have to be a grand gesture or take a lot of time. Sometimes, it's about finding those small moments that recharge your spirit in the midst of a busy day. [PS - Please give this post a heart if it is helpful to you!]

Love this!! Soo glad that she is able to enjoy riding the rides by herself. That's a good point in while they are riding and enjoying themselves, its a lil moment for us as well..

@Dontay, yes! I find that with my schedule it's all about finding and making the most of those little moments! Have a great week
