Is it normal to grow fangs as well as the two bottom teeth?

Hi mums! My little one is turning one in a week and only just started teething. It was her two bottom teeth at first but now her fangs had come in too! I'm not sure if it's normal because everyone tells me it's the two front teeth that should next.

I’d say they look more like lateral incisors than the canines. I think most kids get the two front teeth first but maybe as she’s on the later end of the scale for teething she’ll get them in close succession.

Secretly a vampire 😂

Usually the bottom two front teeth are the first to come in.. however everyone is different. In your picture you can see the upper teeth ready to break through the gums. I wouldn’t worry.. she’s just getting her teeth a little later. She might hold on to the baby teeth a little longer as well! It’s normal for her, and i wouldn’t worry one bit!

Any order is normal 🙂 as long as they have the right number of teeth, all good.
