I've went through the same thing time after time on here! I was beginning to think it was just me or something 😆

I’ve done what you’ve recommended there and I’ve still be ghosted I just got deleted off snap I have no idea what I did I thought everything was going okay

@Kayla I’m sorry you’re experiencing that! I think people just don’t know how to say they’re not feeling the other person and want to end the contact. Ghosting is easier I guess lol

People are busy. I only check the app during sleep times but I have a few moms who check in daily or every other day or so Some have checked in after weeks and months Some I never heard back from I’m not offended. It’s life. Happened to me throughout my school aged days too. I’m brutally honest and will tell someone I’m not interested I have had moms completely stop talking to me because I said the “wrong thing” too. (Example: I chose to feed my child solids at 5 months once he sat up unsupported) I’m a pretty boring person. I used to be more fun but I’m older now and just appreciate life differently 🫶🏻

@Christina🤱🏼🍂🌮🍕🥗🍦☕️♈️ Not necessarily in all cases. The cases I’M talking about are people being attentive to the messages, but with little effort. Even if they respond multiple times a day throughout the whole day the responses are like: Hey I’m good Nothin That’s cool Me too Or something minimal like that. You can have quick and frequent messaging back, with little to offer to the BACK AND FORTH of the conversation. Those are the types of interactions I’m talking about.

@Laketra I gotcha. I don’t have that problem. We carry full conversations but the time between those conversations can be lengthy because life happens. Being A parent takes up majority of the time. Then add in those who work. I don’t work so finding people to chat with continuously or constantly is a bit of an obstacle
The damn same! It’s annoying. I feel like most are just passing time on their phone instead of trying to actually connect as genuine friends!

@Laketra I couldn’t agree more about the short responses that don’t mean anything… I’m good, hey, that’s cool…with no follow up questions. Lol. Makes you wonder if some of these people are the same way in face-to-face convos or if texting just isn’t their strongest suit 🤔
This!!!!!! I always reply but some people give one word responses, or they’ll say something about them and not ask “hbu?” And I’m just like 😐…😐…😐 do you want me to carry the conversation on my back?
