Fussy eating

My son has never been a ‘good’ eater so when he finally started eating better in the last few months I thought finally, things will be easier from here. Unfortunately he has now hit yet another fussy phase and this is the worst yet. He just looks at food and says he doesn’t like it without trying it even if it is food he has ate multiple times before and could have said he liked as recent as the day before. He won’t sit at the table for meals. He can ask for food then when I give it to him he says he doesn’t like it or he will eat one bite and say he is finished. Currently other than cereal he has no ‘safe foods’ whatsoever. I’m really hoping this is just a short phase and will pass soon because I don’t know how long I can cope with this. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

You are not alone, my son is the same, takes 1 or 2 bites and says “All done, finished “ so I have to spoon-feed him just to make sure he has all the nutrients during the day.

We bribe 🙈 ‘if you have 3 more spoonfuls you can have a treat’ .. or threaten to throw it in the bin sometimes works ..

@Geana feeding him has worked during particularly fussy periods before but this time he just completely refuses. Hopefully it passes soon for both our little ones
