Potty training! 🌸

Hey, so my baby is 11 months old and we started potty training 2 weeks ago and I was just curious if you have some advice or any more tips? Especially how we should handle this outside 🤭 I appreciate anything! 🥰🩷

It is not too young, check out Go Diaper Free website, free podcast and if you like her stuff the book is great! I got my oldest out of daytime diapers at 15 months and was doing well by 20 months, waking up dry at every nap and very few misses. I am doing the same process with my youngest but a little younger since he started walking so early. I recommend a couple episodes on the go diaper free podcast, I listened to these before I started with both boys.

I don't really have anything helpful to add except that I've heard about elimination communication and wonder if looking in to that may be helpful. In some cultures diapers just aren't a thing and I believe that's how they train from an early age to not need them

@Grace omg I will check it out! Thank you so much!! 🥹🩷 my girl started walking a week ago so I thought it would be a great time to start

@Gemma I will look into that 😍 thanks a lot!!!

Yes, totally what this gal recommends for the timing of it. But it isn't going to be like if you were to do conventional potty training and your baby isn't like going to be independent by any means but they are really capable and smart and it is less diapers and less mess so if you're up for it check it out for sure.
