Another baby or not?

Would love to know if others are planning to have more or are just sticking to one? Some days I think I would like another and other days I’m like absolutely no way! I really struggle on lack of sleep and the thought of going through the newborn stage again makes me not want to have any more! But then I don’t want my baby to be an only child as when she is older I want her to be able to have another child to play with whilst I get on with stuff in the house etc

I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant with baby 2, we wanted them to be close in age- partly for them as siblings but also to get through the 'Baby stage' quicker rather than feeling like we were starting back at square one with sleepless nights and Nappies if we'd left a bigger gap. I personally feel like the baby stage is quite shortlived in the scheme of things, and in a few short years it'll all be over and we'll have small children rather than babies and toddlers! But every family is different and you just have to do what feels right for yours ❤️

I’m 38 weeks with number 2! My firstborn was a really easy baby so he’s tricked me into thinking I can handle it! I think it’ll be a challenge but in about a years time they’ll be able to play together and entertain each other and be best friends 🫶

We have a 9 year old and 15 month old and have been trying since the start of the year for baby number 3. We want them close together and then we can get rid of all the baby things we've kept. Somedays I doubt if I'll manage 3 but I know I'm not done and yes some days will be harder than others but nothings ever easy ❤️

I’m 24 weeks pregnant with my 2nd I always wanted a close age gap plus for us it was now or never in order to get help from fertility I know it won’t be easy at the beginning but I think once the baby gets a bit older I’ll be able to get us all into a proper routine and I just think it’ll be lovely for them to grow up together🥰💙🩷

I’m 14 weeks with baby number two! I was adamant I didn’t want babies this close together but I’m glad I’ll get the exhausted newborn sleep deprivation out the way within a few years 🤣🤣

I have a nearly 15 year old, a 9 year old and a 15 month old, and I'm stopping there 😂

I’m happily one and done.

@Rachel 15 year old and 9 and 15 month!! Lovely long breaks in between haha. I think that’s a great idea for me! I’m going to leave it a while and then do it when I feel ready and if that’s in another 2/3/4/5/6 years then I need to remember that that’s ok! 😊

@Charlotte I don’t blame you it’s tough! And there’s many benefits to only having one too

@Becca aww I know, I do want her to have a playmate and someone there forever

@Amelia that’s true… when they are children it must be easier than the baby and toddler stage

My June twins were my second baby, and my oldest was 16 months when they were born. I have to say now they all mostly sleep through, walk, oldest is potty trained and they can kind of play together I'm really glad to have all the worst sleep deprived days behind me. Selling off or giving away anything they have all outgrown gives me a sense of true joy 😂 I can safely say when you're done you definitely know you are!

I’m currently 14 weeks with baby 3 and honestly I could cry in a dark room alone forever if I could. It’s exhausting.. for reference I have a july 21 a June 23 and soon to be April 25. Send help

I dont have much of a choice because we need IVF, but at the moment 1 is appealing. We have 3 embryos frozen and I think we will try again but not for a good few years. Maybe when this one is in school.

@Hayley 100% when this one is in school I think it will make life so much easier!
