Colostrum Collecting
37 weeks today and just tried collecting colostrum for the first time, managed to get 2 full syringes so pretty proud with that! 😅
Feel like I could’ve got more but started feeling a bit sicky so stopped at 2, has anyone else had this?

I didn't feel sick when I started to collect but the baby was definitely moving a lot more during collecting 😂 guess he wasn't happy with it. I managed to fill up quite a few syringes (4) on the first go, I bought a pack of 40 thinking I wasn't going to fill them all but it took me less than a week to fill them 😅.
Wow that’s awesome, you should be proud I get funny sensations in my stomach when I’m on a roll with it, i figured it’s better to stop when I feel like I’m done rather than waiting until I can’t get anymore

I managed to get 2 syringes last week when I first tried and now I’m 38+3 and yesterday managed to get 9 full syringes in a day!!! It’s so amazing how our bodies work 🤣 and I started getting a sicky feeling when I first started doing it but after doing it a few times the feeling went away so hopefully it’ll be the same for you ❤️
