Diaper size for potty training

The diaper and pull-ups being the same , it’s confusing will make potty training longer than it should be.

@Hailey Morris would they have it in her size though? She is a small 18m old.

Not sure my 18m old is in 18m to 2T clothes so the 2T fit well

But you’ll just have to be consistent although they can pee , they still have to learn the feeling of the “urge” Will be mistakes do panties only when home! Give lots of fluid ! Encourage potty a lot throughout the day.

Old navy 2t/3t undies

I would say introduce the potty first. We started with my daughter about 2 weeks ago, got her a little bluey potty (I think a character your LO loves would make it 100x better) So far we put her on the potty right when she wakes up and right before bed and she’s doing great. We have a little basket with potty books with flaps she can lift or buttons she can press to entertain enough to stay. I don’t think she’s understands urges per se just yet so we’re not forcing her. I tried the every 20 minutes thing but she’d end up peeing right before or right after lol We also give her a tiny M&M right after she goes and celebrate lol we’ll discard the waste in the toilet and say “bye bye” which she finds funny lol Loves washing her hands to make bubbles too! I think once she gets the hang of it more throughout the day we’ll transition to undies. I feel like pull ups might make it easier on us to get them in and out of, but may confuse them as they looks similar to regular diapers.

@Aniza I love this. Yes we got the Bluey potty too and she loved it. Our bathroom is small and she loves to open the door when I’m in there. The Bluey potty is in front next to the wall of the bathroom. She comes in and sits down. I encourage her to do it when she sees me doing it. So far that’s what I’m doing. And eventually i will get into routine to try and do it every so-so minutes. It will take a bit but she will get there. I know it. Thanks for this comment.

My baby is the same size but we prefer a 4 @ 19/20mo My girl will go number 2 in potty hasn't gotten number 1 but we keep her naked
