Feeding difficulties
My 9 month old has always been really good with eating and adored BLW since 6 months but for the last few days has started to refuse finger foods she loved before and spitting out half of her spoon fed food or refusing to open her mouth, never had a problem before so getting worried. Anyone else got similar, is it likely just a phase or teething?

Having the exact same! Foods she loved she’s rejecting! We are having issues with bedtime though and dinner was particularly bad today so I’m wondering if she’s acting this way because she knows bedtime follows 😢 it’s so hard not knowing x
Having the exact same thing, my 9 month loved BLW and feeding herself was into everything I put in front of her but she started to refuse a few weeks ago and hasn’t really been into it since. I’m putting it down to teething. It’s so hard to know what’s right and wrong but I’m sure you’re doing the best thing. Teething is so hard🫶🏼

It could be teething! Before my LOs first teeth came in he would start screaming while eating from a spoon and I think it was the spoon hurting his gums. As soon as the offending tooth popped through he was back to normal. They're so changeable at the moment as well! If it doesn't get better and it's concerning you, it's always worth reaching out to the HV 🙂
