My son eats everything! Does your little one do the same?

So I know at this age everything goes in their mouth and that’s totally normal however I feel like it’s taken a step up now! He has a lot of wooden toys as I wanted to minimise plastic as best as I can.. well they all come with painted colour and he has sat there stripping off the colour and eating it! He has a wooden car ramp toy thing, you put the car at the top and watch it go down the ramps… well he has sat there stripping off the wood and eats in! He chews the edge of the wooden table He eats any of his books so he can’t have them on his bookcase now, he can’t even let us know he wants to read a book as he will eat them if he has access to it.. reading the books are fine but as soon as reading is over he screams because he wants the book.. to eat! When a tub of cream finishes he likes playing with the empty tub.. well he has been eating the sticky label stuck to it, peeling it off with his teeth! I got him some beeswax crayons and a book, he is currently walking around eating the crayons (which is why I got beeswax) and the book has had to be put away as he is trying to eat that too! He will eat tissue, hair, paper, plastic… literally anything he can find! I’m hoping this is just the normal “exploring the world with their mouth” phase but it seems like you can’t take his attention away from it! He gets real upset if you stop him and it’s not just putting it in his mouth, it’s fully swallowed and gone if given the chance! I’m really hoping he doesn’t have Pica but I really don’t know now!
