Solids

How much solids is your little one eating? Amount wise😅 I think I might be feeding her bit too much but she never tells me she’s got enough and she definitely has more than the recommended 3-4 teaspoons 😅😂

My little one eats and eats, he’s nearly 8 months and been weaning since 6 months and has full meals 3 times a day xx

Nearly 8 months here and on 3 meals a day. And it's definitely more than 3 to 4 teaspoons 😂 we are also still on 4 bottles a day at 6 to 7oz. So feel like we could be over feeding but she cries for it all lol.

If I give a pouch he will eat the whole thing. Some days are more then others but he's on 3 meals a day and average 750ml of milk x

It's only meant to be 3-4 tsp a day?! My LO has that for brekkie and then at least 1 other snack or meal so dw xx

3-4 teaspoons? Where is it saying that? 😅 Mine has a whole baby bowl of food in the morning and again for dinner plus some finger foods. Then he’s having 700 to 900 mls of formula. I must be waaay over feeding him then. But he wants it all.

@India no no per meal sorry

@Eva Where did you read this? Is this not when they start weaning? 😊

@Paige just on the internet really. It says for 7 months so i’d guess most of us start weaning sooner so they’d eat more

@Eva Ah ok. Hopefully that’s like the bare minimum or something 😂😅

Mine is almost 8 months and eats about two jars a day an his bottles

@Paige we are the exact same. We have 3 full meals a day and around 800mls of milk a day 😂

Our boy has one main meal a day at 7.5 months but has some melty sticks / wafers as snacks too x

My boy is almost 8 months and has 2 meals a day. We are doing BLW and some days we have good food days, others like yesterday, not so much. His favourite thing is yogurt. But it's a slow and steady process - he definitely prefers his milk at the moment 😅

My boy eats 3 times a day Bowl of porridge , pouch & fruit for lunch and a pouch for dinner plus around 5 bottles

@kayleigh mine also love Greek yogurt. May I ask how many teaspoons of yoghurt do you offer per serve

@Elizabeth I'd say around 3 at least. He has those teeny little baby spoons so hard to say. Also having a bit more success with porridge in the last few days. I offer a bit after he's had his yogurt as he seems a bit more willing to accept it then
