My gp will only prescribe 50 at a time, and I test 6 times a day, sometimes I have to double test, or get error codes so I have to order them every week 🙃
@Emma my GP only prescribe me 100 at a time, I test 4 times a day sometimes with errors so have to use more... I usually last between 15-20 days with these strips... And my GP supposedly thinks my prescription should last me 30 days🙃

100 is only enough to do 25 days and that's with zero retests or errors 🙄 some gps are a real pain the ass. I've excruciating pelvic girdle pain so I'm rarely leaving the house and could do with not running one a week to get strips. I wish they would just prescribe enough to do 2 weeks at least. @Alisia here in the uk we get our prescriptions for free due to the nhs, the strips cost quite alot to buy over the counter here too.
If you need a prescription for them that's so annoying. I just got given a diabetes support card that I hand over and I can request as many boxes I need, I usually buy two boxes of 100 at a time.
No my prescription was for 200 test strips at a time so if I use 4 a day, they last a while. Prescription is on repeat anyway though.
I get them in bulk because one box runs out too fast!
