Hey beautiful ladies! First time expectant here 😬. I’m only about 5.5 weeks but the ups and downs of the first trimester are stressing me OUT! Any advice?

I’m not due in this time nor from America. But this came up on my feed and I felt the need to respond. Firstly congratulations mumma!! It is an exciting journey and also quite emotional throughout. Unfortunately you never stop being nervous about how your little one is managing. In and out of the womb. It is something you just need to roll with. It’s all good news until you receive bad news. My first time I loved having the pregnancy symptoms because it felt like confirmation all was going ok. But second time, I could have done without. Haha. Just try to relax and roll with it. Easier said than done I know. Celebrate each milestone as they come and look after yourself. The first trimester is challenging. The second typically is much better. Some people manage well in the third. And also when in third think about how you can best be supported in postpartum period. Good luck with it all!

There’s a website that I used my whole first trimester to help me as a visual person be able to calm down it’s called https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer As your days go by of pregnancy the website will re assure you of how safe you and baby are🥹 I hope it helps it really helped me a lot I used it until my second trimester 🩷

Are you feeling anxiety or are saying you're stressed about how your symptoms fluctuate?

Hi! I’m due in June as well and just entered week 5 (4 weeks 3days). I have slight anxiety too!! I just want confirmation from the doctor all is well and baby is growing healthy! I found out sooooo early (3 weeks 1 day) so the way for my prenatal feels a little like torture , 10/17, with my first ultrasound being 11/1. We got this though!!

Girl SAME my only advice is lean on and communicate with your partner as much as you can. Let them know your thoughts and feelings cause it does feel better just knowing they know what’s going on with you. I can’t give much advice but watching development videos and doing everything that I can to eat well and rest have helped my racing mind a lot
