Large jump in measurements

Hi all, I had an appointment last week Wednesday where my fundal height was measured at 29cm and then today (8 days later) at 33cm(!). Both times it was done at the GP so not midwife/specialists. When I expressed worry about such a jump she said it wasn’t anything to worry about but it is starting to freak me out. I tested negative for GD but am now worrying we’re about to have a huge baby which I’m meant to have naturally & it’s my 1st?! Anyone any similar experience?

Forgot to say I’m 31 weeks now & 30 weeks last week

My fundal height measured big with my first but he was born 8lbs 12oz at 40+6, which is big but by no means unmanageable. Those measurements aren't really accurate 🙂

I measured as 26 weeks at 28 weeks. Had a scan turns out baby's in 93% percentile x

Was it done by different people?.[, different surfaces? Etc etc. Fundal measurement is super inaccurate x

Babies grow very very quickly from 25 weeks, and we're talking a couple cm a week at this point. Don't worry about the size of the baby, because it's not always accurate on scans/measurements. A friend of mine was told that her baby was measuring too small to be born at home, and he ended up being 9Ibs 4oz. If the baby does end up being too big, there are things they can do to keep you both safe, so please don't worry x

Depending on whether it was done by different people or baby was lying differently the measurements can be massively different. If the Dr/midwife isn't worried then it should all be ok
