Birthday goody bags at daycare

Hey mamas, I've seen parents keep goody bags for all kids in the class when it's their child's birthday. I have two questions, do we need to give something to the teachers as well? And any ideas for what I can give for my LOs 2nd birthday? I've usually seen small toys, whistles, and coloring books. Is a healthy nut/gluten free snack a good idea?

My son was in a home daycare and there was just one person looking after them! I would just take cupcakes or a small cake for them to cut and nothing for the provider as such but would make goody bags for the other kids. No food stuff other than nut free chocolates (smarties, sour patch kids etc). And for the goody bags I would just buy some stuff from dollar store. Lots of party favor options there. Not sure where you are but Dollar Tree is a good one and so is Dollar Store. Dollarama not so much..

If it were me I'd get something for the teachers yes, even small, like a pastry or treat as a thanks for taking care of my kid .. celebratory Add bubbles to the grab bags they seem to be a hit

I would give a Mr/Mrs potato Head to each kid and bubbles markers..a stuffy.. wish I could afford.. but bubbles helps. Just make sure doesn't leak or is small hand held one where bubble want is attached to the lid

We didn't do anything. Most daycare won't allow any baked goods/snacks as it is in conflict with health and food safety to bring in outside food. Found this out after asking about bringing the boxes of yogurt tubes my son decided he hated.

@Ellie Oh right, I should find out what our daycare rules are

Thanks mamas for the great ideas!
