Nuby problems - no yellow symbol

I am having problems with my Nuby. Brand new and just out the box. Did exactly what the instructions told me to do but it’s boiling hot to touch when I shake it. I have to hold the lid and it doesn’t ever change colour. It’s always green. But the water is fresh from the kettle and just boiled. I have reset it - left it in cold water, left cold water in the cool rapid, and not touched it for 3 hours as well as over night. Still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? I think it’s faulty.

That sometimes happens to me if I accidentally touch the top before shaking it, because obviously the top hasn't come into contact with any liquid yet. Try turning it upside down before any shaking and before pressing the top. Don't hold the button, only tap at the exact time you want the temp measurement.

Did you get the single one or the one that comes with the flask? The rapid cool should definitely not feel hot to touch it

Mine is the same but I just give it 2 minutes and a few shakes and it’s cool enough then :)

Sometimes mine doesnt go amber but it still works i just leave it for 3 mins and test the milk on my wrist still, but the nuby cool is never hot to touch, sometimes warm but not hot, think it could be faulty if thats the case x

@Sylvia I got the one with the flask: that’s why I think I got a dodgy one. And Amazon will not let me do a return!

@Bethan I did all the trouble shooting. So I want to return now and I got another one just wanted to know if anyone had this problem

I got both of mine from Aldi and never had any problems with them. It definitely sounds like yours is faulty and Amazon should absolutely give you a refund
