Period not starting after stopping progesterone pessaries
I am waiting for my FET. Because I had to have another procedure unrelated to IVF, my doctor gave me progesterone pessaries for a week to delay my period and start the FET cycle right after my procedure.
The issue is, I stopped the pessaries a week ago, and no sign of my period whatsoever…
I took the pessaries for IUI before, my period usually starts 2/3 days after stopping them so I am a little confused/ worried.
Did anyone experience a delayed period after stopping progesterone pessaries ? How many days after you stopped the pessaries did your period start?

Yes, the hospital did one for me before the procedure and it was negative.
I just had my first cycle with adding in progesterone. It was another failed cycle unfortunately but my period started 2 days after stopping them. Do you have a specialist you could contact to see what they say? You could maybe take another test in a day or so just in case the HCG wasn’t strong enough yet to detect in the initial test you did at the hospital. Best of luck x
Thank you @Jessica . I will go buy a test today to make sure. I did ask my consultant and we did a scan a couple days ago. All looked good and in theory my period should just start anytime.
