I got sepsis while I was labour. It took them the best part of the day to realise despite my mum telling them something wasn't right. I wasn't going to complain but after yesterday I felt I needed to as it could have ended very differently. I'm lucky I have a beautiful healthy boy x

@Katie I'm good now. Just took a few weeks to recover. It just makes me anxious for the future if I have another baby x
How did you get them to do a debrief with you? I currently have a complaint being investigated. We sent the complaint in a month ago they emailed me yesterday saying theyre still doing an investigation xx
The midwife was supposed to offer it as it was a difficult labour. My health visitor ended up putting the request for me. Got the letter months ago, but just a long wait. I'd speak to your health visitor or ring them xx
I'm really sorry to hear you've had poor care đ I had terrible aftercare 4 years ago, but I was so in the thick of it with issues with my daughter I just couldn't face complaining. But good on you for pursuing - nothing will change unless people do. Can't believe how bad it was and still is
