Early gender test

Hi! Is anyone planning on doing / has anyone done an early gender reveal blood test? I don’t think I can wait until 20 weeks to find out 😂 I’ve seen they’re 99.9% accurate but still slightly sceptical and wondered if anyone had any experiences!

I did a Sneak Peek at home blood test at 7 weeks. Got the results within a week. Ultrasounds at 15, 20 and 25 weeks confirmed the same gender. Currently 26 weeks but feel confident with 3 ultrasounds that this is correct. My sister and cousin used the same tests with their children and both were correct

That’s who I was thinking of using 🥰 did it take long to receive it / for them to get it back? Just wary with them being in the US!

7 days for them to receive it and then 4-8 hours for you to get the result

A blood test is technically the only way to be most sure about gender 😊

I did a sneak peek test last Friday and got the results today. We got a boy result but looking at reviews and statistics online boy results are most likely to be wrong as it’s easy for them to be contaminated so I’m taking my result with a pinch of salt. I already have two boys and a male partner so mine could’ve been contaminated plus apparently foetal DNA can stick around in Mums bloodstream for months to years after birth and my last boy was born this May and I also did my test at 6+6 whereas most people seem to say that waiting until after 9 weeks gives more accurate results so I personally don’t really trust the results upon further research and am waiting for a private scan at 16 weeks then the anomaly scan to confirm gender 😊 I think girl results are a bit more accurate and less likely to be wrong and it’s best to treat it as a bit of fun rather than totally trusting the result

I did and it’s right compared to my scans 😊 my relation did it though and it was wrong. You have to be REALLY REALLY careful when giving the blood for the sample as any contamination by a male (human or animal) will cause it to be a male result
