34 weeks and got my phone call tomorrow to discuss possible gd diagnosis. Has anyone had the diagnosis and know what would happen next I'd I do have it? C section booked for 39 and 3. Will they bring it forward? Thankyou x

They will only bring you forward if you're on medication. If you're diet controlled they might not make any changes 👍

You will be given a monitor to track your blood sugar. It could be 4 or 6 times a day. Depending on your results you'll be diet controlled or put on medication. You're currently in the few weeks where GD is hardest to control due to hormones. Limit carbs such as bread, rice, pasta and potatoes. Add a lot more protein to each meal, snack on high protein snacks between meals. It's very overwhelming but you'll be fine!!!
