Does anyone else still have numbness in their scar?

My mum had a C section 19 years ago and she said she can’t feel it properly 🤷‍♀️ as long as it’s not worrying you

It’s been 4 months and I still have slight numbness around my scar as well!

Same! I’m 7.5 months pp.

I’ve had two sections and my first one I couldn’t feel anything within an inch of it for around two years then I’ve just another one and i can’t feel even more around it, my mum had hers 10 years ago and never got full feeling back

When I had my first c-section 5 years ago I had numbness up until I had my c-section 11 months ago and have found I have gotten some feeling back. sometimes feeling comes back sometimes it don't there is alot of nerves around the area so it can take a bit longer for it to heal it is totally normal for it to remain numb for life

2 years ago I had an emergency c section and I'm numb on my right side. They do warn you of this though. There is that chance you won't get full feeling back.

11 years from my first still numb, got a bit of sensation weirdly back after second but still numb in most places

I had a section in March 22 & still don't have full feeling, much more than I initially did though. I think some women will never have full feeling in it like before, unless it's causing an issue there is no problem x

They cut through nerve endings so the likelihood of feeling coming back 100% is very very unlikely, my mum had me via C-section 25 years ago and she still can't feel her scar

My mum had one 20 years ago and still gets numbness and pains. It's very common.

2 sections kids are 7 and 4 still abit numb I think it's normal because they have cut the nerves and stuff I doubt they fully go back to normal x

3 year later still numb about to have another section as well

Im 14weeks pp and mines still numb on patches. My mum had 2 c sections 20 and 16 years ago and she still can’t feel hers properly. Asked my nan the other day and hers is still a bit funny too and her c section was like 38 years ago so😂😂

My scar felt almost back to normal after three years but then I got pregnant again so it’s numb again now

I had my section 12 years ago & it still feels numb on the scar

I’m 16 months pp and some spots still feel numb. It’s so weird

My mum still has numbness 26 years later 😂

Honestly, I had my son 7 yrs ago via c section and still have total numbness. I think it’s safe to say in my case that I might not get feeling back.

I have a 10 yr gap between section 3 and 4. Still numb!
