Purée

I really hope I don’t sound stupid but I’m a first time mom and I recently started feeding my 6 months old baby solids. I know the container is usually good for 2 days in the fridge, but the next time I have to feed him do I need to warm it up? Also if I do for how long and do I warm it up in the microwave!?

Depends on preference. I fed my first baby cold food sometimes and other times warmed up in the microwave. I have never heard of a reason it should be warm but I could be wrong

I never warmed up purees that way he doesn't develop a preference and I am feed whatever on the go. I think mine prefers cold especially when he's teething

First off- You don’t sound stupid at all. Starting foods is so so confusing. Like all things kids, it takes time to learn and there’s lots of opinions which can make it more confusing. Second- I never heated the purées just because it wasn’t convenient and I knew it would create a preference that wasn’t always realistic if we were out and about.

You do not HAVE to heat it. It’s preference. I get some out of the container and put it in a bowl to heat it and then feed her. I do Apple sauce come but things like yams I warm up.
