@Tiya it was a whirlwind of emotions leading up to it I was terrified if I’m honest but something came over me and I just handled it so well. The spinal didn’t hurt at all but once the warmth ran through my hips down my legs I felt an overwhelming sensation I was going to faint. The operation itself was very calm and relaxing, the team were exceptional I felt so well looked after. There wasn’t any pain during the op but the recovery prepare for it. Take all the drugs you are offered for pain relief while you’re still in hospital and don’t come out until you feel ready. I was in for 2 days after and an extra day for breastfeeding support. All in all I would have one again 💕
