Baby never cries

Ok I know this might sound like a dream situation however I’m a tad worried about her neurologically. My little one pretty much never cries, she’s gone weeks on end without crying, she makes what I call it sqwaking noises if she wants food, but other than she is just content looking round. Every midwife/doctor has always said what a content/chilled out baby but can’t help but worry. Have seen the doctor at her 8 weeks jabs and she thankfully cried for 10 seconds or so when she had the jabs so she does have a pain threshold in case it was this. Doctor wasn’t concerned and said she just seems to be a chilled out baby whose needs are being met so doesn’t bother crying. But as FTM I was expecting a lot of crying and I can’t help but worry she’s not ok. Does anyone else have the same?

Both my babies were/are like this! If it makes you feel better my almost three year old is hitting all developmental milestones and no worries about him at all. Just very chilled babies 🥰

@Sarah thank you! This reassures me! It’s certainly made the transition to motherhood very easy, but can’t help but worry! Glad your boys are doing well :)

My girl only cried for about 10 seconds at her jabs too! The only time she really cries is when she has trapped wind, otherwise she makes the odd what I call shouty noises but that’s about it in terms of unhappy noises.
