What’s everyone doing for their baby’s first birthday?

On the day we are planning lunch or cake with great grandparents and then soft play after school with big brother. 😊
On my daughters birthday, I've booked the day off work & I'm planning on keeping her home with me. Going to have my mam & cousin over for a mini party, whilst my husband is at work & my eldest is at school. Then have a proper little tea party with my family round on the weekend
We are taking my daughter to the build a bear store as you pay £1 per year of age for the bear in their birthday month. And then we are taking her for her first McDonald’s and play with her new toys and let her dig in to some cake. There isn’t much need to make a massive fuss for their first birthday it’s just another day to them. As long as you know they’ve had a few presents to open, had a candle to blow out on any sized cake and made a memory with photos it’s all that matters x
@Kadii same we were also planning to go build a bear soon! We already got him the bluey & bingo tbh😅
We did aquarium and then cake and presents at home with grandma (and us ofc 😅). Went down a treat
I second the aquarium! We went yesterday as that was his 1st birthday and he loved it, then some family came round later on for cake and presents x
Idk where you live but we don’t have much planned for my boys, I don’t see the point much, but he has bookbig on his birthday then we’ll probably go see his nanny etc 🤷🏻♀️
