Are any of you retuning back to work earlier than expected? I’ll be returning back to work part time, next month when my little girl is 6 months olds.. a little heartbreaking but it’s got to be done. Any advise on returning back to work as a FTM

I’m sorry you’re going back earlier than you would like. I went back to work full time when my first was 1, so not quite the same but it was a lot easier than I anticipated. I think in my head I got myself so worked up and was so upset about leaving my baby. But it actually went really well. It made me enjoy my time with her more and I got to be a person outside of being a mummy again. Plus I had more money again 😅 Not advice, sorry ! Just hoping I can reassure you Is there anything in particular you are worried about ?

I’m worrying too mine is 5 months and doing jobs interviews to try to get a job as we need the money and I am also so scared about leaving her. Luckily I’m looking for a nursery I can work in that will also take mer so I’m not far but still can’t imagine a whole day without her x

I’m going back to uni next month (student nurse training) and I’m going straight back into 12.5hr shifts 🥺 I’m honestly dreading it. I don’t go back to my part time job until after Christmas x

I might go back to work in February. It all depends on finances. If we can survive on just my husbands wage for 3 months I will be back end of March.
