Baby girl is here 💕

Birth story: I did it all. Like all the things I can experience, I experienced (minus a vaginal birth). My water broke, so we went to the hospital and when they did their initial check, I wasn’t very dilated. They put me on a cervix ripener, then I started having a bunch of painful contractions. After a few hours of that, I decided I couldn’t deal with the pain anymore (I was banging my head on my bed trying to make the pain go away), so I opted for an epidural. Then, I relaxed so much that contractions practically stopped so they put me on pitocin. Baby didn’t like that (her heart rate dropped as my contraction intensity increased) so they stopped and gave me a break. We tried again and baby didn’t like that a second time and 22 hrs after my water broke we opted for a c section. 😫 Oh, and I developed preeclampsia a week later. My experience has been a ride, but she is here and she is perfect (and has an insanely healthy set of lungs that wake up mama every 2 hrs for her serving of boob).
