First birthday
Little one is turning one at the beginning of November and we are so unsure of what to do for his birthday. We really don’t want to do a party as the idea of my side and my husband’s sides of the family in the same room would be hell.
His side are quite middle class. His mum would make the event all about her.
My side are quite rough, working class with some really naughty children/shouty aunties. I’d be so embarrassed.
Both sides are asking what we are doing but I have no idea!

@Manpreet I’d love to just take him out for the day just the 3 of us but that wouldn’t go down well with the extended family 😫
We’re going to chessington the week before his birthday for the zoo/ aquarium/ indoor splash park/ soft play we have options that way in case the weather is bad 😂 & then on his actual birthday we’re just having a tea party at home and we’re baking our own cake x
We are taking our baby out for the day just the three of us maybe to the aquarium or something too. We will have a small tea party the Sunday before for people to pop in and see her but nothing big!
