Hot flush

Hi fellow mums. Does anyone else struggle with hot flushes in the morning? I’m in my 30s so I don’t think it’s related to menopause as I have struggled either this for years. It just feels tougher to deal with now as I don’t get any time to “cool down” with a baby and needing to get ready for work. Would be grateful for any tips!

Are you breastfeeding? I get hot flushes when I need to feed

I am 38 and I suffer from hot flushes in the morning too. I have for the past few years but my blood tests aren't showing any thyroid condition or anything else concerning, just inflammation from my rheumatoid arthritis. I literally have to go into my cold bathroom and sit on the floor for 10/20mins before I can properly function, which is fine when it wakes me up before the kiddies. I have an 8yr old and LG about to turn 1 in 2wks and the flushes have gotten a lot worse since having her and having IUD implant put in.... I could really use some advice too, to be honest!

@Lindsey not breastfeeding. Also, hot flushes started pre-baby

@Ashleigh I feel your pain! I have to sit infront of a fan even in the middle of winter to cool myself down! It’s crazy. I’ve also been checked for thyroid etc but it seems like I’m just a warm person which is frustrating

I got hot flushes pre and post baby. Still get them sometimes during the night. I just assume it was the pregnancy hormones 🤪 it is quite a big change on our bodies
