I remember the pain well! You could try holding a wet maternity pad or flannel down there whilst you go. Again, gross, but it works! It’ll get better ❤️🩹
I might sound mean but wee with using water down there constantly or maybe use water first and then wee with flowing water. These stitched down there hurts so bad either you wee, poo, sit, stand or walk. More power to all the women going through postpartum healing. This is so difficult phase but again we are powerful so we will do it 🫶
I found that drinking lots and lots of water would help and it didn’t sting as much when I had drank lots compared to when I was drinking coffee etc, i would also put really warm water in my peri bottle and spray this when i needed to wee. I also used the fridamom witch hazel foam and this was a game changer. I was using the spritz for bits at first but this did nothing for me.
I would sit and lean forward on the toilet when peeing so that my urine would barely ever touch my stitches. It worked quite well for me. Hopefully, it might be comforting for you too. 🤞
Peri bottle! Took mine to hospital with me and midwife after birth advised warm water. Game changer! Then just pat dry with toilet paper folded. I used it when home for a few weeks too. Also being super hydrated helped. Good luck, hopefully it won't last long xx
Drink loads so the wee is more diluted and I didn’t use a peri bottle (as I wasn’t organised enough to get one), I used a jug of warm water and poured it on myself as I went. Good luck, it won’t last long xx
Honestly it is the worst. Try weeing in a shallow bath (I know gross🤣but gotta do what ya gotta do!) and squeeze ur legs together, the spritz for bitz can help and also put aloe Vera gel on a pad & put it in the freezer to wear after🤍 I hope you’re okay xxx
