Just want to rant
So my boyfriend of 7 years is getting a tattoo tomorrow for 350 quid and because of this tattoo he brought our 2 children 1 presents each for their birthdays and than I said are you getting some food in when the freezer empty I’ve just spent 120 quid on food and he said I will see how much I have left he does buy food the odd ready meal

Sounds like he needs to get his priorities right. Proper food rather than ready meals should take priority over a £350 tattoo.
Tattoos are a luxury and should come after everything else is taken care of financially. I think you need a very clear conversation with him about priorities.
