Constantly whinging baby

Does anybody else have a baby that is just utter hard work?? Like soo clingy put her down she cries, fights her sleep milk etc. My partner works lates shifts also I have a 2 other kids I can't cope. Afternoons are just utter dread she just cries, put her down just cries, shes crawlinf and into everything. I can't even eat my tea. It's getting to the point where I'm just so pissed off & feel depressed & i feel slight hatred towards her cuz she just doesn't stop. I know it's not her fault but how does everyone else cope? I can't do nothing at all she doesn't sleep in the day either 😫

Since my baby turned 4 months we would have periods where he was whingey but as he is getting bigger it’s getting even worse. I thought getting a play pen so he could roam around and play with his toys would help but again as he’s getting older it’s not really helping , even when we are in there he’s honestly glued to me 9 times out 10! I have to distract him and quickly get the sterilising done but as soon as he sees me over the kitchen work top that’s it, no chance!! if he’s just whinging I have to try my best to hurry up and get on with it or there would be stacks and stacks to do but obviously if he’s full on crying I just have to go pick him up.Sorry for the long winded short answer yes a very whingey baby at the moment!😂 xx

@Amy it's just such hard work isn't it 😫 I no they can't help it & just being babies but she's a danger to her self as she's so clumsy she falls alot and ends up banging her head I literally can't take my eyes off her for 5 seconds x

Have you tried miss Rachel for babies? I feel she parents with me, I can have a quick shower, cook. If that doesn’t work maybe babywear? X

It is a lot! The thing with carriers is he’s big now so I cant reach the sink properly or he kicks everything off! The play pen has been better to be honest because at least I can’t take a couple of minutes, he’s very clumsy as well but we have a couple of mats in there xx

You’ve just described my baby and my life literally I’m so depressed at the minute I look forward when I go to work it sounds so horrible but I just get a break (I’m a 0 hour contract so pick and chose my shifts) I hope your okay though xx

@AN..x no I haven't I've tried to avoid putting this on as she seems very irritating 🤣🙈 she does love watching other things tho. I've tried doing that before but it's just not practical I can't properly do things when she's on me if that makes sense because she's so big x

@Amy I totally get that with the carrier it's not doable for us either it's not practical for gettings things done at all. I was tempted with a play pen but we don't have the room we only have a small front room x

I could’ve written this myself! My baby is doing the exact same thing and I have a toddler to look after. I broke down today to my husband as I just feel soo burnt out from her. She spends the whole day just crying whinging, tv doesn’t work and it takes sooo long to put her down for naps! I have to constantly hold her it’s exhausting

@katie I'm sorry you feel like this too 😪 it really is tough & very frustrating. I get the going to work bit at least you are getting a break x

@Diana I'm sorry you are feeling like this too 😔 it is exhausting I find more mentally tough as the crying just wears you down so much you feel like having a break down 😫 x

My baby is the exact same 😩 I feel you x

Yes same here. She will whinge or cry until I pick her up but holding her isn't even good enough, if I dare to sit down she will moan, my back is ruined. I know it's not her fault but I do get so annoyed by it. All I keep thinking is if she's this much hard work now, what will she be like as a toddler 😫

@Sophie it's so tough isn't it. I also have a toddler so double hard work 😫 x
