Sertraline

Has anyone been on sertraline and it just stopped working for them? I was on it before I got pregnant and it worked great, I’ve since started taking it again and been on it around 2 months now My anxiety started getting better but last week I had an episode of feeling lightheaded and ever since it’s just been so bad, today I’ve just kept going into a state of panic for absolutely no reason I’m going back to the doctors tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has had this as I’m curious why it’s stopped working. Not sure if breastfeeding has anything to do with it?

EBF here and was on it before and though most of my pregnancy I'm still taking it now too. They say to only take it for 6month-1year as it can stop working or have weird long-term side effects. It might just be that you need the dose adjusted slightly

@Ebony I was on it for around 9 months before pregnancy I was thinking I’ll probably need a dosage increase, just also worried of the side effects 🙈

I've found if you expect side effects you'll get side effects. Focus more on the idea that you'll feel better and it'll help you look after your little one. I've always reacted weirdly to meds like paracetamol makes me drowsy and melatonin makes me high. Sertraline is the only meds I've never reacted too
