Hobbies

Looking for some hobbie ideas for when I get some downtime when my little one is in bed, my toddler is a great sleeper so I do get the whole evening to myself but often end up wasting it scrolling tiktok and procrastinating. Would love some ideas!

I crochet. I don't do anything too complicated, just easy stuff like baby blankets, booties, hats, scarves, etc. It's super relaxing mentally, I totally recommend it :)

What are your current ones?

Painting/drawing, reading, gardening, journaling or watching tv :)

@Mutago 🤗 I love cooking but tend to do that during the day! In the summer I’d go on a walk or pebble paint in the garden but need some more winter friendly ideas

@Hilal would love to learn, are you self taught?

I knit and make quilts when she's sleeping. Sometimes I watch TV or read novels. Stay up and play board games or cards with my husband.

Yes, actually I learned it from YouTube. There are so many easy patterns and it shows step by step. At the beginning, you just need to be a bit patient then everything starts making sense 😅

I bought a Kindle to read when my baby is down for a nap. Or sometimes I nap when she naps lol

Organize and get rid of things around my house that I haven't used in a year. "If I haven't used it yet, I'm not going to" depending on the price I'll re but it at a later date. Colour, Colour by number Paint by number Sudoku Word search Read or watch educational content like finance or business. If I'm not pregnant, ski

When I brought my daughter home I was also looking for a new hobby and taught myself how to crochet! Youtube videos and pintrest were my best friends. I also love embroidery.

I love to do diamond paintings or watercolor! I find them both super relaxing. Also, I have recently gotten back into playing animal crossing so if you like video games I would recommend that one. It is very chill!

@Kellee can totally relate! Gotta get some rest too!😊
