Opinions?

My 3 year old daughter is in nursery, her nursery are very pushy on the kids being independent (3,4,5 year olds). Am I asking too much for my daughter to be supervised when going to the toilet? I’m not asking them to go in but maybe just walk past or stand outside the door to make sure she’s okay?

Considering the staff to child ratio, I believe it’s 1 to 8 for that age, I think you are asking too much. Especially if the toilets are outside of the room, they would be forever in the toilet.

I’m not asking them to be in the toilet with her, I get that is too much but the toilets are in the same room and she’s been locked in before so I don’t think I am asking too much.

I think maybe let them know if she’s in longer than 5-10 mins ask them to check on her because she has previously been locked in as that’s a concern
