Small steps to manage anxiety

So my baby is now 7 weeks old, she is so adorable and not really a difficult baby. I’m struggling so much with my mental health, I always had depression and anxiety but it has gotten way worse now with my newborn, never thought that having a baby is going to trigger so much anxiety. What do you do on a daily bases to manage it?

I’m trying to pinpoint everything that makes me anxious such as leaving the house on my own with the baby .. and trying to imagine it as a positive experience

@Abbie i think I am going to go through medication as well, has it helped you?

@Amanda definitely helps shift the mindset. But I am so desperate at this point ai feel like I will need medical intervention

I eat healthy. (Lots of fruits berries and veggies) Supplements (zinc, ashwaganda, selenium, magnesium, vit c...) I try to drink heavy metal detox smoothie daily (wild blueberries with coriander, barley grass juice powder, spirulina 💚) Avoiding perfumes, smoke, scanted candles, detergent, air fresheners.... With too many chemicals. They are triggering. Positive affirmations ✨ helping a lot Herbal tea 🌿 Feeling like shit. Eat the orange 🍊 or 🍉🍓 🥝🥭🍒 🌈✨💕

@Abbie thank you that is very helpful, hope your LO gets better, you are inspiring ❤️

@Raimonda 🌻 that list looks like what everyone needs! How do you find the time for self care? My anxiety stops me from taking healthy steps like this.

I don't always find time for myself 😞 For three days I didn't wash my hair. 😢 I'm trying everyday to choose me. (One step at a time) Priorities. So one day I will clean one room. Or cook extra something (healthy cookies) Raw breakfast when I can hihi (sometimes I'm too hungry) I eat oatmeal with berries and maple syrup 🤤 Fruits always make me more happy. My little one too. I read a lot about heavy metals influence on the moods and so on. Trying to avoid the triggers. Take a minute to breathe 😇 (just 2 minutes sometimes is enough) What is triggering you. Asking for change ✨ Morning jazz also really helps me. Or Luis hay affirmations ✨💕🤓 Medical medium 📚📖 🤓 Wild blueberries are so good for your healthy brain 🧠🤤 (I find them in the freezer) from hate to I love with the coriander/cilandro 🌿😌 Herbal tea works magic ✨ I'm trying to avoid coffeine (green tea chocolate black tea cacao) bad for the adrenals. I feel that honey is also really helpful 🍯 Gluten also makes me stress

@Raimonda 🌻 that sounds amazing thank you for taking the time to write this
