Just found out

Just found out I did multiple tests as could really believe it. Any one else just terrified and worried it will go wrong. Told GP they don’t do midwife apts there so and to self refer to hospital so I won’t speak to any medical professional to at least 7w apparently. Apart from careful with food. No alcohol and take folic acid what else can I do any tips and advice be appreciated x

I just found out last week. I’m in the same boat! Congratulations though

Congratulations! I feel exactly the same. I found out at 3 weeks and I’m now 4 weeks. I am not convinced it will end well. It’s so difficult

Lucky we have this app to communicate and support each other ! You too !

Congratulations! Not in this group (I’m in the March one) but it popped up on my feed. It feels strange but there’s nothing else you can really do at this point! Take it easy, eat well, read up on what to avoid. In a few weeks you’ll get hit with the tiredness and nausea if you haven’t already.

Thanks for commenting appreciate it x

Just be present in your experience and try not to entertain those “what if” thoughts for too long. 🙏🏽 it is so wild how you find out and then it’s just kind of crickets for weeks and weeks until that first appt. Besides dietary things, not too much changes in the first trimester. I’d say just keep yourself nourished, hydrated, and rested. Everything you do now is like a building block to support yourself with in the later stages of your pregnancy. For now, soak it all in and celebrate!! Congratulations ❤️🎉

I recommend taking Prednacare. They have the folic acid and vitamin D that you need - among other vitamins to make sure your little boop can grow properly! 🥰 Recommend limiting your caffeine to 200mg a day. I axed caffeine altogether. ☺️

Congrats 🥳 just try to stay positive!! I know it’s hard and that nothing is really confirmed until the booking appointment/12 weeks scan! But you could always book an early scan privately if you want to lessen the anxiety!

Eat plenty red meats and spinach, things rich in iron, itll help with almost every pregnancy symptom. Its very normal and perfectly fine to feel worried, the worry never stops, even when they are born your gonna worry about them forever, its just part of being a parent. Fully cooked eggs are good for development, you can eat most things just in moderation (even sushi just get imitation crab or cooked shrimp) exercise, you really want to stay active, you will feel the benefits in the 3rd trimester i promise😂

It’s totally valid. When I saw my test I also could not believe it. The next day I went out and bought a second test just to be sure. We went through IVF and there have been a million and one negative thoughts that have crossed my mind in this process but at the same time I’ve had to remind myself that I don’t know what will happen until it happens therefore worrying about what could happen won’t change anything today. Just remind yourself that you’re doing everything you can to support you and the baby ☺️

Just take prenatals and drink lots of water. Take it easy. Body can feel the stress and everything will be okay. 🩷 congrats!!

Thankyou ladies x

I don’t want to do the line progression thing as I feel it will create so much anxiety for me. Thankyou for all the support. Ordered my vitamins just now thankyou Amy.

Congratulations, in the same boat 🥰🥰 this chat has been very helpful 💕
