I read to put a baby wipe (or similar) over his bits so when the nappy is off, it’s harder for him to pee everywhere

Wipe their bladder with a baby wipe first that usually gets them to pee! If not i used to put a wipe over his privates whilst i wiped🤣

Hey Megan, that is very exciting! I'm a FTM to a boy of 6 weeks. I haven't been directly peed on yet but many of his outfits have been ruined due to a pee occurring during changing or nappy leakage. While changing it helps to apply a cold wet wipe below the bellybutton a few mins before removing the nappy, have a dry cloth nearby just in case and be quick to apply the new nappy. Don't forget to flare out around the legs and check the seal. I hope everything goes well!!

Im a first time mum who’s got a 7 month old now, only very few occasions he actually managed to pee on me or somewhere else.

Just have somthing to pop over his willy as soon as nappy comes off because yes, the cool air makes them pee for miles 🤣. Boys are the best! Good luck on the delivery of your boy and congratulations 🎊

I typically put a wipe over his parts when changing a diaper clean his butt first with a different wipe and then use the wipe that you spent over him to clean up that area

My mom got me some pee pee tee pees. They’re cute too. Look on Etsy!

Make sure you point his little guy down in the diaper, or when he pees it will leak out and all over his clothes!! Also, don’t forget to wipe under and around his bits when he poops because it will hide under there!

I mean it took mine 2 weeks for the fountain of youth to shoot across our living room 🤣 but I will say that they have incredible abilities to wet through outfits in the strangest places. Just try to keep it covered as much as possible with either a diaper or wipe. Also everything Jordan said! Aim it down and make sure to move all his bits when you wipe 😅

Just pay attention and always be ready with a wipe, diaper, burp cloth, etc. I think I've maybe been peed on once during a diaper change and I have 2 boys

Hey mama, how exciting. What we did with our son is wipe his skin towards the top of his diaper/ lower belly and let it sit for a minute and then change him. We rarely were pee’d on.

2 boys and I've never been peed on 😂 my boys get a "stiffy" when they need to wee so I just look out for that

Never been weed on and my son's 2! My HV told me to always pause once you've undone the nappy for a few seconds before taking this off, as the cold air is likely to make them wee. She also told me that the lil general stands to attention before they wee Both were true 🤣

New diaper under old one, open old one and let air a second or two then close again for a second if his pee pee starts to harden cuz that’s when he’ll pee. Once that’s done, wipe take off old diaper and close up new one. I had some leaks thru clothes onto my clothes, but not peed on directly from opening a diaper.

I would put a wipe over or open up his diaper for a few seconds and then place it back for about a minute so he’ll pee and then would change his diaper quick. Had very little accidents doing it that way 😊

Yeah🤣 but I learned a technique. You undress him but you leave the nappy on, you put a clean nappy underneath his bum and take the dirty one off and then done, you can protect yourself with the clean one in case of something 🤣

My 1st son is 2 and he never peed on me but he has slept in my bed and the pee did leak on me lol
