I've felt the exact same! My baby is just over 7 months and isn't that interested. At the start I was getting really frustrated and hated the mess but now I'm just trying to chill out about it because she will become more interested and as they say food is for fun before they turn one. So even if she has just a few spoonfuls just take that as a win now and just sing the whole of the time we are trying food 😂
My first baby was like this and I was so stressed out about her eating especially seeing other babies having three meals a day on social media. She’s now nearly 2 and she is such a good eater! I definitely wouldn’t worry about her eating when she’s ready she will eat
We are exactly the same, nearly 8 months! I could have wrote this post myself. This is the exact reason I’ve not cut out her middle bottle yet for lunch because shes no where near ready for 3 meals. Im putting massive pressure on myself to take away the milk fast but she deffo still needs it as shes gone back to 2 night feeds 🥴 xx
My boy face changes as soon as food appears on his high chair table😁 he won’t open his mouth for a spoon and if it is finger food he will play but not interested to try. So far he only likes apples and grapes
My baby is not interested either it’s so stressful she’s not big on milk either do thought if weaning went well we can cut back on milk but she’s not interested and it’s so disheartening
Mine is exactly the same at 7.5 months. I hate it 😂 I’ve actually heard so many people say they found weaning tedious recently. I too was really looking forward to it initially! I was so worried about him not really eating anything but I’m just now trying to take it as it comes and trying not to put too much pressure on it. Strangely, he will eat for my husband but not for me.
