Would you go to the doctors?

So I’m 9 months postpartum. Since I gave birth I’ve had episodes of tachycardia where my heart rate has gone above 175bpm 7 times (which my Apple Watch has picked up) on 3 of these occasions it’s gone up to 210bpm!! I’m worried that I’ll call doctors and because it doesn’t happen infront of them they won’t believe me and I’ll be wasting their time and my time. I must add when my heart rate has spiked I’ve been doing next to nothing. This morning it got to 210bpm just from me making my son some porridge and then sat on the floor putting mascara on!

Yes. You will never be wasting their time or your time, better safe than sorry. It’s their job to assess what could be causing this. Even if it doesn’t happen when you’re there, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening or that you’re “lying”. They have to believe you.

Hey, I've been having episodes like this too where I can feel my heart beating quickly. Could this be related to pregnancy? Hope you are ok!

Got a doctors appointment for tomorrow so hopefully will get it sorted- it’s definitely not normal!

Just to update just back from doctors- I’m getting a 24hour heart monitor and she took blood so hopefully get results soon. She’s thinking it’s just anaemia which I’m hoping it’s that and nothing else 🤞🏽
