Birth control

Are y’all going on birth control once baby arrives? If so, what kind are you getting ? If not, what do you plan on doing ? 🤔 Since I can’t decide what to do, like I don’t want to go on BC but then I don’t want to risk it!

I haven't really decided what I want to do tbh. My cycle is so irregular due to PCOS so the keeping track of ovulation method is out the window for me. I've tried different forms of bc and all they did was make my PCOS worse, but at the same time I don't want another baby for at least 2 years after my little girl comes. I'm so stuck lol I've tried looking into more herbal or natural options but I haven't really found anything that seems like it could be worth trying

Aviane pills worked for me prior to pregnancy, so I'll be doing those again.

I'm going with the copper iud

Husband is getting the snip

No form of birth control for me but I also don't mind if I get pregnant again. Some ppl say breastfeeding works as a natural BC but I can assure you it doesn't.

No birth control here. I haven't been on birth control for over 7 years. I did do different types of birth control for around 2 years and my mood/emotions where crazy so I quit forever. I will just track my period and pray for the best. I don't mind having another baby

Debating between natural method so tracking my cycles which works really well for us and nexplanon

I did IVF before getting pregnant. I’m going off the hormones for a while.

I wasn’t on bc for several years before getting pregnant so I don’t plan on going on bc after. I just do cycle tracking

I’m trying to decide the same. Got pregnant at 6 months pp, but I should have also been smarter. I don’t want 3 under 3 but I hate how BC makes me feel😅

@Cassidy I'm kinda in the same situation, got pregnant 7m pp. I was tracking my cycles but that month I wasn't paying attention and now I'm scared to have 3 under 3 lol but birth control was awful for me🥲🙈 I'm thinking of trying the mini pill but I still am a bit nervous

I’m going back on the IUD. Had it after my son in 2013 and took it out last November to try and have a baby- got pregnant is January. I loved not having a period, not worrying about getting pregnant and being able to conceive right after taking it out. Highly recommend!

I’ve never been on BC so not planning it on it now. I’ve never had an accidental pregnancy either. Both my pregnancies were planned. Hubby and I use condoms on my fertility windows, and use nothing after that. So far, it’s been working 🤷🏾‍♀️

After my 1st I was on depo for 8-9 years so I think with this one I’m going to either do the mini pill (can’t do other ones due to my hypertension) or just track my cycles closely. But I also plan to breast feed/pump and I’ve heard that lessens your chance of another pregnancy (I also secretly want one more baby after this lil guy so wouldn’t be upset if it does happen)
