Egg quality

Anyone has real life experience on how egg quality was increased and any suggestions on what to do and what supplements to take. Out of 12 fertilized eggs retrieved during Ivf, only one made it through blastocyst. Doctor said the eggs were dark and small. Doctor is convinced egg quality is bad. I’m 32 and I feel like I don’t have time anymore.

I had 0 blasts first round. (15 eggs collected) I done everything, vitamins etc, acupuncture etc. I was told poor egg quality. Aged 35 2nd round didnt change much other than clinics. Myself and partner took coq10 in higher dose and switched stim meds to pergoveris and retrieved 22 eggs, 11 4aa blasts currently on ice. I’m nearly 37 now. For me, I think the change in clinic and stimulation meds were the difference I needed

My egg quality was horrible round 1. I had two eggs break when ICSI was attempted. I have DOR as well so I only got 3 eggs. I was out on Metformin, Cinnamon, MYO Inositol. Plus I started eating gluten free. Next round 6 weeks later, none of my eggs broke.

Following as I'm also curious. I watched an episode on Infertility TV on YouTube and the doctor from the IVF clinic said there's absolutely nothing we can do to help egg quality, only sperm quality. I'm also taking coq10 etc and other supplements. @alicia that's a really big difference! From 0 to 11 great quality ones. May I ask which clinic did you go and what was your exact protocol? Did you or are you going to test with PGT? I had 3 blastocysts - 5AB, 5BB and 6BB. Only the 5AB was genetically normal. I'm 36 years old. Perhaps if you don't mind we can chat separately too, thank you so much! x

Hey, I'm only 31 and have done IVF with ICSI four times, each time I've only ever had one blastocyst to transfer. I've had 4 different types of FSH drugs too, tried different supplements each round, had a hysteoscopy (endometrial scratch) but nothing yet in terms of success 👎🏼 so I feel your pain.
