Weaning workshop told me they may not “like a food” til it’s 30-40th try. They also recommended mashing not pureeing food (if you want to do BLW) and savoury first few days so they don’t reject it once they have sweet. That’s what I’m doing once she’s got trunk control.
At the first babies usually spit a lot out because the texture change from milk can be an adjustment. Keep going and introduce again and again, they will get there. You can do BLW if that suits them better
When I went to a weaning workshop they said that you should offer every food about 10 times even if they don't like it at first. It's because they probably just find it strange and just need to get used to it.
