Second baby via IVF.

Hey, we were lucky enough to have a baby first time round via IVF and we are considering going for a second round to have baby number 2. Has anyone been in this position? I am just so worried because as we all know it’s so much money and not always guaranteed and I’m just worried I’m talking myself out of it? Just would like some advice x

I’ve just started meds for our FET to hopefully have our second baby. We were successful first time too and currently have an 11 month old. Do you have to have the whole ivf cycle again or do you have any embryos? X

@Amy we have 3 embryos luckily so would be a frozen. I’m coming round to the idea of trying again but I’m just so worried and anxious! Exciting news for you! What’s the cycle like for your second? Do you have to do injections again? X

I’m worried too! I keep thinking we won’t be as lucky second time around. I’m trying to think positive though. No injections this time just estrogen tablets and progesterone pessaries x

We had our 2nd last year but it did take a couple transfers.

We’re currently nearly 14 weeks pregnant after our first FET for baby number 2 ☺️

We are 4mths pregnant with our second ivf baby :) both transfers worked first time! It’s expensive but no where near as much as the collection and the fresh transfer! Our frozen transfer all in was £5k vs £14k for collection and fresh! So felt like a bargain 😂😂
