Fussy toddler

Has anyone else’s toddler suddenly become really fussy with their food? She has never been a fan of “typical lunches” but now she is refusing a lot of foods she would eat regularly. Any tips?

Yeah, my girl is like that... she loved rice and pasta and now she won't touch it. Sadly no advice bit sympathy 😕 I hope it's just a temporary thing and they will grow out of it

@Izabela between this and the lack of sleep 😩😩 We’ve got this 💪🏼 I keep offering her a variety of things, just hoping she will get back into her food! 🤞🏻 my fingers are crossed for you too

My son is the same so I have started spacing out meal times so doing them all about 30 mins later, seems to work some of the time as he is hungrier. I also try the this is mummy food you can’t eat it and offer him the fork and pretend to look away and he will eat it sometimes if I turn it into a joke.

@Megan ooh thank you! I’ll give this a try! X

@Chermaine I do the same, just offer it and one day she might eat it. Thanks, it will be fine 🤗It's just awkward age and they will grow out of it.

We’ve had this since about 19/20 months. I give smaller portions, try to serve it differently than usual to make food more interesting. Sometimes I feed him food from my plate because what I have seems more yummy

@Kerry thank you! I actually tried a smaller portion tonight and she ate it 🥺so this may be the way forward! X
