Pregnancy...

Hey mamas... sobwhen we were all pregnant, whether it was out first or fourth kid... what were some of the things you would of liked to know? For example... what skincare products were safe or what symptoms were normal or not.. Even now as a mom... what are things that you are learning or had to do research about, that you would of liked to know? For example... how to exclusively pump or how to dress baby during different seasons?

Hmm During pregnancy I didn’t know at first you can’t use retinol Always keep crackers and spindrift/drink or choice in car for nausea Pack your hospital bag way ahead of time- google list so you don’t forget and if breastfeeding i love “My Brest Friend” Decide on if breastfeeding, pumping, nursing, formula, or a combo and come up with a plan. I’d even say try to take a course. I thought it would be self explanatory but there’s so much to know and learn. Many pediatrician offices offer free classes. Be knowledgeable on how maternity leave works so you’re not having to do too much when you’re with a newborn. Know that the first few weeks do not reflect how your life will be forever. You WILL get sleep eventually. Oats, brewers yeast, drinking lots of water, lactation snacks, eating healthy/taking a vitamin, nursing often, leafy greens help build up milk supply. Before having baby, have some frozen meals ready to go in freezer. You will likely not have time to cook.

@Sarah love this... I'm thinking about creating like a prenatal and 1st year pregnancy resource book ... so it makes knowing all this a little easier to find instead of googling everything

What an amazing idea!! So many moms would appreciate that especially that it ultimately would be for moms from moms. Keep us posted!
