Girl's hairstyles

My daughter is disabled and it is always a battle to find cute and comfortable hairstyles, for her. Because she is non ambulatory, her hair curls up in a bunch, naturally. And, despite all the high calorie intake that she gets through her Gtube, hair growth is stagnant. Any recommendations? Picture below, for the post to follow through.

Are you able to twist or braid the back of her hair up so it doesn’t get tangled?

@Melanie I have attempted and failed. Her hair is uneven and thin as she does sometimes pull her hair out when she is irritated. I feel if I cut her hair, for one specific style it would be worse to manage, all together.

@Kool😎Karen this cut is so cute. Is it cut short on both sides?

@Melanie yes

A lot of the kiddos at my son’s school are non-ambulatory and some of the girls have cute little perms. Others wear high ponies or messy buns or like a half up pony. Silk hair ties from Etsy are great. My son has shoulder length curls, and they don’t tangle his hair, even when swimming.
