Activities

What does everyone do with their early risers? In terms of activities For context my LOs have always been early risers. For example most days they are up by 5am and by about 5.30 it feels like we’ve lived about 20 lives. They want to be on the go all the time. I usually have the crayons/colours out for them and they get their toys out but save any sort of sensory/messy play for later in day and obviously it is too early to go out for the day but I feel like I’m running out of ideas to keep them occupied all day long They are 2 (26 months) and 1 (12 months)

There is YouTube channel: cosmic kids yoga. It’s yoga activities that is fun and easy to follow

Board books also can take up a lot of time. Just have a lot of them from library so they are different every two days

@Ekaterina thank you. Il check it out x

Are you happy with 5/5.30 wake ups? That only happens for us when bedtime is too late.

@Natalie yea that wake up time has been pretty much their norm since birth (has been part of our daily routine everyday). They go to bed around 6:30 so I’m happy with the amount of sleep their having (including nap times- 2 year old between 1-2hours, 1 year old 2-3hours) It’s just that morning entertainment where it feels like it’s too early to do anything and don’t want to rely on turning the tv on

I totally get that. Just wanted to check cos sometimes people don't want that and think it's just what it is. I found my daughter enjoys books, magnetic tiles or soft toys/dolls first thing in the morning.
