This is completely normal especially at this stage because you don’t feel kicks yet and you won’t for a while probably which is totally normal by the way xx

Hey there, I am 9 months post partum, but during my pregnancy I had really bad anxiety. I would get worried about what I’m eating, not feeling movements. It’s completely normal what you’re going through. Try and find things to help you relax e.g. meditation, painting, etc.

You can eat 80% healthy food and 20% unhealthy. Don’t stress. Go about your day as you normally would. Attend all appointments; when they do the baby scans be ready to hear the baby’s heartbeat and record it on your phone!!! The real struggle begins after you’ve given birth. The birth itself is fleeting. Enjoy the time you have to yourself now and the sleep as well! You will be struggling with sleep after baby is born, so I hope you have a strong support system at home to help you.

or to eat 70% healthy and 30% unhealthy food.. I can’t quite remember but it’s along those lines. The point is to eat majority healthy foods and a few unhealthy foods.

Thank you all xx

I’m anxious all the time. I’ve basically given up on the idea of eating as a source of pleasure as I find it so exhausting having to read labels or ask people in restaurants what’s in everything or how it’s prepared. I have a call scheduled with a mental health midwife this week, so maybe something to bear in mind? I hope you feel more relaxed when you start feeling the baby more x
