Birthday

Thinking ahead at the moment. My May baby birthday falls on a day where she is in nursery. I still have to pay if she doesn’t go in and I would also need to take the day off work. Is it mean to send her in?

You could check with your nursery but at ours they have a little party whenever one of the kids has a birthday. Being in means they get a little party with their nursery friends as well as whatever you choose to do to celebrate.

Why would it be mean? It's not that she knows any different if you celebrate her bday on a different day. Also when they go to school you can't just keep them off

I’m a teacher so will never be able to take a day off for my little one’s birthday. And it wouldn’t occur to me anyway because no-one else would be free to celebrate with us. We’ll always just celebrate on the closest weekend 😊

Not at all. Milo went nursery in his first birthday n they did a little party for him! We just celebrated at the weekend
